Verdict

Dansa Queen gets a tentative vote over McNairobi, Our Faye, Quaich and Tawaajud in this fillies' only handicap. Dansa Queen has taken a little bit of time to come to hand this term, having rounded off a light juvenile campaign with a defeat of the much more fancied Magic Peak. She was produced perfectly from off the pace at Windsor by Adam Kirby 18 days ago, sweeping through to score with a bit more in hand than the official margin indicates, and she is taken to repeat the feat here. McNairobi was up against elders for the first time when failing to complete a four-timer at Kempton, but back in her own age-group, Peter Cundell's filly, a half-sister to prolific winner Lady McNair, should give a better showing. However, she is no good thing to confirm Lingfield superiority over Our Faye on 11lb worse terms, especially as the latter has improved since to open her account at Leicester. She will not mind the stiff finish here either and rates a threat to all. Quaich floundered in the softish going at Folkestone last time and can do better, while Tawaajud in contrast appreciated the give underfoot when scoring at Chester in May and in addition has not been seen since flopping at Newbury in June. All in all, this is a trappy affair, with Dansa Queen the pick to small stakes.
