Verdict

Spice Fair bids to follow up last year's victory off a 5lb higher mark but others are preferred this time. Steve Rogers is back over his winning trip after a fifth over 2m at York and shouldn't be far away while useful hurdler Awaywiththegreys is lightly-raced on the Flat. So is Newbury winner Bari, who gets in off a low weight, while Late Shipment and John Louis are others who catch the eye. STOCK HILL FAIR has won over this trip and was doing her best work at the finish over 1m4f at Newmarket last month. She may just have needed that and can land this off the same mark.
