Verdict

This looks a decent handicap and several have claims. Deia Sunrise made all to record a clear-cut success at Leicester and will be prominent from the outset while Angel Gabrial appreciated the stiff finish here last time to score and likes fast ground. Courage has been knocking on the door in maiden company and makes his handicap debut while Royal Empire won on his debut on the Polytrack at Lingfield, though the handicapper has taken no chances with the Godolphin colt. INITIATOR was biting off more than he could chew in the King Edward VII Stakes at Ascot but will find this opposition less taxing and was an impressive winner on fast ground at Windsor earlier. He gets the nod though Mazeydd looked a nice prospect last year and has plenty of scope.
