Verdict

Mr David was quite impressive over this trip at Newmarket six days ago and can't be ignored, despite his penalty. The three-year-olds Gaul Wood, Johnno and Emman Bee are also capable of making their presence felt while Elna Bright is starting to look well handicapped again. Rustic Deacon and Focail Maith have the past form to figure but so has SANTEFISIO and Keith Dalgleish's six-year-old is fancied to make his long trip from Lanarkshire worthwhile if reproducing his latest second in a better race at Goodwood.
