Habitual front-runner Morestead is probably better suited to fences but should make this a decent test and that will suit NEMO SPIRIT. Dan O'Brien's grey is still a maiden over hurdles but was noted staying on late when third at Plumpton last month and should appreciate the uphill finish here. Van Diemens Land has hinted at ability and Petit Ecuyer won at Plumpton in November and did finish ahead of the selection at that track in January. Trip The Light and Kastani Beach may need further, however, but Prickles is a pound lower than when only beaten a short-head at Wincanton nine days ago and should be in the firing-line.
