      Verdict

Slip can maintain his progression and prove superior to Novikov and La Sarrazine. The selection has made rapid strides this season winning impressively over a mile on his handicap bow before scoring over this course and distance last time. He's 15lbs higher than for the first of those victories but the rise in the weights is fully deserved and there should be more to come. La Sarrazine should also have more in the locker and should see out this trip well enough but he has shown all of his form with cut so, with the going currently riding good, he's opposable. Novikov has finally started to look as though he may be able to deliver but he certainly isn't one to trust implicitly and the percentage call is to oppose him. Know The Law and Roodolph should both be players in this company but Slip is taken to improve past them and land the spoils.
