      Verdict

Biographer stayed on strongly to finish runner-up to Opinion at Windsor but will only run here if the ground is suitable. Cathedral built on his debut run to make a promising reappearance at Newbury and must be considered with progress virtually guaranteed. Dream Tune's second to Noble Mission on soft ground at Newbury was a decent effort and he was out of his depth in the Dante subsequently. NABUCCO could hardly have had a worse start than at Newbury where he was impeded when the stalls opened and throughout the race. He was totally unfancied that day but made such an impression that he gets the vote here. Sir Henry Cecil's newcomer Dr Yes is out of the Oaks winner Light Shift while Sir Michael Stoute relies on Maria's Choice, who is related to two winners at around this trip.
