Another truly run race went to Hezaam, who came with wet sail to nail Boule D'Or on the line. The heavily gambled on Winning Delight was a little unlucky in third, having been settled at the rear of the field and met all sorts of trouble as Kieren Fallon tried to weave his magic in bringing the First Trump gelding through with his challenge inside the final furlong.
