Verdict

Master Of War arrives on the back of a second to Heavy Metal in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood. Stepping up a furlong and back on fast ground, he may be worth taking on and Tha'Ir looks to have every chance. The latter was beaten a length over 7f in the Vintage Stakes also at Goodwood last month with Chilworth Icon a below par ninth and he should go close. All ground comes alike to Hasopop, an impressive winner at Newmarket in July and he makes more appeal than Dont Bother Me and Mocenigo, but the vote goes to FANTASTIC MOON. He beat subsequent winner Snowboarder over today's trip at Newmarket on his debut and trainer Jeremy Noseda knows what's needed to land this having won last year's renewal with Talwar.
