Verdict
Marishi Ten and Flirtinaskirt showed enough promise on their debuts to suggest they will improve enough to go well with the former just favoured. Jollification will need to show more than she did at Thirsk, however, and there are some nicely-bred newcomers in the line-up. Contradict, Everleigh and Hayyona should all win races in time but the most speedily-bred filly on show is CITY GIRL, a half-sister to a two-year-old winner and out of a mare who won a Listed contest over 6f and is from a high-class sprinting family. She may be sharp enough to make a winning debut.
