Drastic Measure ran a great race on her debut and has to be considered, however there are a couple of interesting newcomers here, Royal Confidence and Amylee and we will side with Royal Confidence. The Barry Hills trained daughter of Royal Applause is out of a very speedy dam Never A Doubt. She was successful over sprint trips as a juvenile and was also trained by Mr Hills. Obviously he would like to get a win with this filly and she could do it first time out. The trainer should also know how he stands with Drastic Measure as Mark Prescott's charge was beaten by his filly Just a Dancer. However she should improve and looks a big threat to all. Clive Cox pops up with the odd two-year-old winner and so Amylee should be watched closely in the betting. In fact the market will also give a good guide as to the fitness of our selection, Royal Confidence.
