Verdict

ALZANTI looked a rather nice prospect when nudged out to land a Class 4 Newbury handicap this month, her first start since making a winning debut on Polytrack last winter. A 7lb rise seems fair and she ought to be able to follow up here under similar conditions before taking a step-up in class. Art Official is searching for form, Captain Midnight has shown some promise and Despot has yet to reproduce his winning Polytrack from on the grass. Solo Hunter's from sends out mixed signals but his last run when a close second here to the progressive Hiking does read well and he could emerge as the main danger to the selection in receipt of a handy 10lb.
