Verdict

Weisse Socken was beaten when odds-on in a four-runner race on her racecourse debut but was probably unlucky in a better race at Thirsk last time and will be backed to make amends. MEETING WATERS is bred for speed and attracted strong support on her debut at Sandown where she found only Biography too good. With that under her belt she can go one better. The winner's yard is represented here by the once-raced Chutney and newcomer Dizzy Miss Lizzy and Richard Hughes' presence on the former, who showed good speed for a long way over 6f at Newmarket, suggests his mount should prove the better at this stage.
