Verdict

Difficult to exude confidence about any of these and FREE TUSSY gets no more than a tentative vote. He's been in decent form in amateur races recently and should figure again at this level. Red Somerset has slipped down to a tempting mark, but whether it's enough to see him winning over today's trip for the first time at the age of eight is questionable while Sasheen is another who has shown her best form over shorter trips. Oriental Girl still looks in the handicapper's grip, while The Blue Dog remains 4lb higher than when winning a seller earlier in the year.
