    Verdict

Elizona stayed on nicely over this trip at Yarmouth though she looked as though another furlong would suit. Laftah made an eye-catching debut and was then expected to score at Beverley but had no answer to a 68-rated rival having her 10th start so that form looks modest. Miss Brazil has found one too good in half of her eight races and may do so again as SPELLBIND looks the one to be on. The Godolphin filly was having her first start for 11 months when a good third in what looked a strong Newmarket maiden in which John Gosden saddled the first two and she should have come on enough to take this. Neither of the remaining pair can be dismissed in what looks a tight affair.
