CULTURAL DESERT is a likely improver for the Beckett team back in trip. He didn't run badly when sixth to the useful Grumeti in a Sandown handicap last time and looks to be finding his promising juvenile form. He could outclass this field. Joseph Tuite has made an impact in recent weeks and Advertise has found his form for the fledgling yard the last twice after moving from Andrew Balding in March. Keep an eye on Gallego who's shown little or nothing of late. He landed this event in both 2008 and 2009 and hasn't won since but is down to a very attractive mark if able to recover just a semblance of his ability. Don't expect to see this hold-up performer until late on though, whilst Major Domo and Night Sky are also respected.
