Verdict

Shy may struggle under her penalty incurred for landing a modest heat at Chepstow last week, while both Soundbyte and Miss Topsy Turvy have been raised for recent victories. Schism doesn't look particularly well treated, while Hawridge King would prefer a softer surface and Dr Darcey has had plenty of chances. Man Of God is become disappointing and didn't appear to stay 1m5f at Newmarket in June and a better bet may be SLIGHT ADVANTAGE. She proved her stamina when runner-up to Hollow Tree over this distance at Sandown last month and, though 2lb higher here, is probably still on a decent mark. Clive Cox's filly gets the nod.
