Verdict

LODEN ended last season with a win at Kempton and found only one too good on his return to action over 1m4f at Windsor last month. There should be plenty more to come over longer distances and Luca Cumani's charge gets the nod. Milnagavie landed her hat-trick at Brighton last time but will need to improve again off a 6lb higher mark, while Drawn Gold brought last season to a premature end with a victory over C&D in June and has his first start since. This is a better race than Hawridge King won here last July, but Momkinzain scored over track and trip last time and looks the biggest danger to the selection on that form.
