    Verdict

Not a race to get carried away with but the three to concentrate on appear to be Digital, Quantam Leap and Young Bertie, with the vote going to Digital. Mick Channon has his horses in decent form and despite this horse being winless in his last twelve races, the reliable old-timer can land this open contest. The ground and trip are ideal and he looks the one to beat. Dr Synn bounced back to form in a moderate contest recently and has claims, along with Quantum Leap who looks well-handicapped on old form although he does have a very inexperienced jockey on board. Isphahan is better when the ground is quicker so can be opposed, along with Miswadah who didn't show a lot on the turf last time out. At a price course and distance winner Stamford Blue could go well, however Digital still retains plenty of ability and gets the nod.
