Verdict

VALLARTA was doing all of his best work at the finish when runner-up on his debut at Goodwood last month. He'll relish today's extra furlong and can get off the mark. Swift Cedar also has solid claims having been only beaten a length on the Turf at Lingfield last time and the aforementioned pair should dominate. Of the remainder, Clear Loch, The Gatling Boy and Muskat Link look the most likely to improve while Sakhee's Rose is a newcomer to note.
