In depth

Verdict

Ocean Avenue is given the vote in this handicap with Tibouchina and Vale de Lobo others to consider. The selection arrives here in good form having won a competitive handicap at Windsor last time when he beat Olimpo. That was his first win for nearly three years but it should have done his confidence the world of good and as he had been well backed on his previous run he may be worth sticking with. Tibouchina is another in good form and she just missed out on the hat-trick last time when she was beaten by They All Laughed. She should again run her race but the handicapper may have her measure and we will oppose her today. Vale De Lobo wasn't beaten all that far at Lingfield last time but she is better over a shorter trip than this. Rickety Bridge is lightly-raced and could prove best of the remainder, but Ocean Avenue has plenty in his favour and can win again.
