      Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for SEVENTH CAVALRY who is taken to get the better of Screaming Brave and Bagber. Alan King's 4-year-old finished second behind Merrymadcap over 1m2f last time and he wasn't stopping at the finish. This slightly longer trip should play to his strengths and he can the pick up the winning thread. Screaming Brave has been in good form of late but the handicapper looked as though he might have caught up with him at Pontefract last time and he could be worth taking on today. Bagber ran well on his handicap debut at Sandown last time and with this longer trip expected to play to his strengths he can also go well. Mustajed has won over the course and distance but he is another who looks to be in the grip of the handicapper, and we will return to Seventh Cavalry as our idea of the winner.
