Verdict

Frankie Dettori's presence at the meeting is solely to ride ECLIPTIC, who hasn't been seen since finishing runner-up to King Torus in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket last July. It's obviously a risk supporting him after such a long absence but he's the class act here. Godolphin are also represented by Al Aasifh and Atlantis Star with the former much more likely to produce a big effort. Mabait progressed nicely last year, ending the campaign with two very good efforts at Group 2 level. He ran poorly in Dubai earlier this year but has the ability to make his presence felt. Inler ended last season winning a Class 2 at Doncaster but has been a major disappointment at a higher level this campaign.
