In depth

Verdict

Shamrocked has the best of the draw and won over C&D on his debut. He's only beaten one horse home in his last three runs however. Apostle and Three Am Tour could easily figure if fully wound-up but Gabrial's Gift appears much better on Polytrack while Emperor Vespasian made no impression in a modest Bath maiden last month. We'll stick with HAAF A SIXPENCE, who was probably a fortunate winner on his reappearance at Wolverhampton but looks to be on an upward curve and should handle the switch to turf with few problems. Lunar Deity disappointed on his final start last season at York but this is a lot less competitive.
