      Verdict

Newmarket trainers have won the last three renewals and the bulk of the prize money could be heading back to HQ again. Nigel showed promise when easy to back over 1m2f on his debut on the Rowley Mile course, though whether this longer trip will be in his favour is open to debate. Yarrow started favourite at Doncaster over a mile in October but couldn't quicken. He's capable of better but this can go to The Queen's FABRICATE (NAP). He had to be pushed along to keep tabs on the leaders on his debut at Newbury but ran on well inside the final furlong and will know more today. Havisham has been showing up well on the all-weather while Every Instinct looks the pick of David Simcock's two newcomers and is preferred to Windsor second Uele River of the others.
