Verdict

WELL PAINTED is best in at the weights in this claimer and his run over this trip at Ayr last month was too bad to be true. He may be worth another chance as most of his rivals also arrive out of form and Chepstow second Monopoli has well over a stone to find on official figures. Hipster may be the danger, though his best form is on sharper tracks than this, as front-runner Breaking The Bank will be there to be shot at and is better on faster ground. Lord Ofthe Shadows is capable on his day but is on a 20-race losing run.
