In depth

Verdict

Most of these arrive in good form and have met several times in the past. Chillie Billie has been handed an 8lb rise for beating DOONARD PRINCE at Listowel where Ross Coakley was allowed a soft lead. That's unlikely to happen here and the runner-up can take his revenge and land this ultra-competitive handicap. Mctaggart was having only his second start of the year when defying a big weight at Bellewstown last month but the handicapper has hit him with a 12lb rise. The Scourge was behind him at the Curragh earlier but he didn't enjoy the soft ground and showed massive improvement to score at Down Royal on his favoured fast going. Tom Madden's claim is a bonus for Toccata Blue, who can reverse last month's Naas running with Strait Of Zanzibar, while Have A Nice Day has had a good season and won here in June. No three-year-old has won the race so Henson and Crafted Mastery may struggle despite their recent impressive victories but Burren View Lady, a nice recruit from Tim Easterby's yard, can go well for Denis Hogan.
