In depth

Verdict

Benash had some decent form over hurdles and ran his best race so far over fences at Kilbeggan last month when runner-up to Prince Ludovic. John Carr should be able to find him a race for him somewhere but BULLOCK HARBOUR is preferred on this occasion. Already a winner on the Flat, over hurdles and in a bumper, Jessica Harrington's eight-year-old wasn't beaten far behind stablemate Clouded Thoughts at Limerick last month despite looking in need of the run. He'll strip fitter here and can come out on top. Most of the others have seen action in point-to-points with Laurencetown winner Oscar Leney arguably the pick of them.
