Verdict

Give Me A Break had shown nothing before a comfortable handicap victory at Tipperary and though raised 9lb she's still on an attractive mark. Wontbelongnow might well have won at Limerick last time but for a mistake at the last while Mount Gunnery came good when making all in a Clonmel maiden and is progressing nicely. Takeyourcapoff is in foal and landed a nice race at Perth last month. She's another that doesn't look badly treated but the novice Shield disappointed at Limerick after beating a big field of maidens at Cork. The front-running Kilcarry Bridge has really found his form since the better ground arrived, completing a double at Sligo and Ballinrobe though a 9lb rise could stop him in in hat-trick attempt. PYRUS GOLD WIND finished 9l behind the latter at Ballinrobe but that was his first start since September and with a big pull in the weights he's taken to get back on the winning trail.
