Verdict

A very low grade handicap. Siobhans Belle was a 33/1 chance when runner-up at Ballinrobe where she appeared to enjoy the quicker ground so she should be at home in tonight's conditions. Royal Boru was obviously fancied to improve on fast going at Down Royal as he started favourite and though beaten when falling at the last he'd been in contention for much of the way and will probably be supported to gain compensation. GRETZKY had been in good form at Dundalk before reverting to hurdles at Fairyhouse and was in touch when falling at the fourth last. With his rider able to claim 7f he's taken to gain his first success over timber. Honourable Lady looked as though she needed further when runner-up at Sligo while it's a surprise to see Couleur De La Loi running over the minimum trip as he produced his best run for a very long time over 2m6f at Downpatrick on Friday. Catchin Time had looked ready to win soon with two fair efforts in April and probably found 2m2f stretching his stamina at Downpatrick last month.
