    Verdict

ESPECIAL separated a couple of subsequent winners when a close-up third at Haydock and that's much the best form on offer. Bryan Smart's colt can open his account. Character Onesie also showed promise on his debut when third at Chester ahead of Tortilla Jackson and he's preferred to the more exposed Doppler Effect, placed in all four starts but still well beaten at Catterick last week. Mustaqbal is related to a couple of winners and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
