Verdict

Anne's Valentino was still beaten out of sight despite finishing second in an amateurs' race at Thirsk. MIGHTY MISSILE's ability to stay this longer trip has to be taken on trust but he was beaten only a head over 1m4f here recently and gets a speculative vote. A trio of previous winners all take another crack. Generous Dream came out best in 2012 and has yet to win another race and the same comment applies to Cowslip, whose sole win to date came in a division of this last year. The other division was won by the more prolific Kodicil and he's not easily dismissed back on the same mark.
