Verdict

This is a very trick getting-out stakes but we have to stick with the hat-trick-seeking SIZE after a couple of recent wins on fastish ground at Musselburgh. He escapes a penalty for his latest easy success five days ago and has a good draw so must take all the beating. It surely won't be long before the front-running Cono Zur gets his head back in front at this level while Hakuna Matata and Nimiety could easily figure if putting their last run behind them. Sardanapalus also disappointed last time but raced far too freely and he was consistent prior to that. Eastward Ho would have place claims on his best form but it looks like age may be catching up with Violent Velocity.
