In depth

Verdict

This is a trappy contest in which Tia Mia is preferred over Carleton and Choose Your Moment. The selection is a nice filly and she is eased in grade here after contesting the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood last time. She has already won at Listed level and if she runs up to her best she should be difficult to beat. Carlton has also been running in some hot contests and he did run a blinder in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot when he finished in mid-division behind Winker Watson. Choose Your Moment won his maiden in good style at Carlisle and he looks a useful prospect, but he will need to show significant improvement if he is to get his head in front today. Sporting Art and Lesson In Humility also made winning debuts and are capable of going well, but Tia Mia sets a decent standard here and should run a big race.
