The progressive WHITE SHIFT is taken to return to winning ways here at the main expense of Mabait, Time Medicean and Lovely Thought. The selection has really blossomed of late and the former David Evans-trained filly comes here on the back of a gallant second to Global City at Haydock. This looks a slightly easier race and off the same mark of 78 she is fancied to prevail. Top-weight Smokey Ryder cannot be overlooked despite a mark of 92 still looking too high, whilst Mabait won over this course and distance last time (beat White Shift into second) and looks a highly progressive three-year-old. Time Medicean has been holding his form well, and the run at Epsom last time was as good as anything else he had previously done, whilst Lovely Thought represents a trainer in good form and the drop in trip is in his favour. Better is expected of The Kyllachy Kid, Lucky Numbers and Dove Mews, whilst On Offer looks to be approaching his peak and a third last time suggested a win may not be far away. However it is White Shift who is fancied to win.
