Verdict

Hot Rod Mamma has gone up a harsh looking 8lb for winning at Catterick last time and she'll need to improve again stepping up in trip. Similar comments apply to Smart Violetta, who has a 6lb penalty for Thursday's victory over a mile at Hamilton, while Tobrata and Damascus Symphony have to come into the reckoning having both finished runner-up on their latest starts. ARCTIC MAIDEN has given the impression a greater test of stamina will bring out the best in her and, after an improved effort in better company over a mile at Windsor, Willie Musson's filly gets a tentative vote here.
