Mutamaashi was impressive on debut but will have more to beat this time and while Hunterview will have his supporters we'll side with CRACKDOWN. It's become obvious that this one prefers a sound surface under hoof and Mark Johnston's runner thrived for that last time when scoring easily in similar contest. The manner of that victory suggest both the step up in trip and four pound mark rise won't be a problem especially with his yard still firing. Mutamaashi beat subsequent dual winner Eastern Aria over distance at Lingfield on debut. He's obviously entitled to come on from that and he'll need to under a harsh looking mark. Hunterview has done little wrong in four starts including a very easy victory last time out. However, all of his best performances point to the fact he needs cut in the ground so he is quite easy to oppose this time. Roman Republic loos to be Mark Johnston's second string on jockey bookings but improved for better ground on just his second run last time so he should go well again but it is his stablemate Crackdown who gets the vote.
