In depth

Verdict

Dario Gee Gee, Shivaree and Word Perfect are the three to concentrate on here in a competitive affair and the vote is given to Dario Gee Gee. The selection ran well in a better race than this at Doncaster last time when a good second behind Abraxas Antelope. That was on good to soft ground and as he has proved that he can go on a softer surface he is taken to score. Shivaree finished fourth in the Cherry Hinton Stakes so is clearly a nice filly but she has disappointed since when she lost her action and she is probably best watched on this occasion. Word Perfect landed a gamble at Doncaster last time when defeating Bibury Flyer but he was all out to win that day and he looks to have plenty on to defeat our selection in this tougher race. This is a decent contest with some nice types on display and we will make Dario Gee Gee the selection.
