Up Tempo, Rudi's Pet and Full Spate look the three to concentrate on in this competitive claimer and the narrow vote is given to Up Tempo. The selection was a fair third in similar grade last time out behind Devon Flame. This looks easier and from a good draw he is taken to gain compensation here. Rudi's Pet rates the main danger as he was a fair fourth behind Harrison's Flyer in a handicap last time out. The step back up to six furlongs looks sure to suit he will not be far away. Full Spate is another worthy of respect as he is also dropping in grade and with the booking of Jamie Spencer catching the eye he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder, Favour is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but her best form of late has been over five furlongs and for that reason she is overlooked. This is a trappy affair and in a race where stakes should be kept to the minimum Up Tempo looks the most likely winner.
