        Verdict

        Hydrant's winning run came to an end at Haydock and he's now 17lb higher than when it began. All of his victories have been in lower grade handicaps and the assessor looks to have hold of him now. San Cassiano was a long way behind him at Ayr previously, though better was obviously expected of the 10-times winner as he started favourite. Ventura Quest hasn't won since 2013 but is now back on the same mark as a consequence, though he was a bit disappointing at Beverley last time. MEMORY CLOTH (NAP) completed a hat-trick early last season when there was some give in the ground. He hasn't quite got his act together this term but conditions should be to his liking and he's back on the same mark as his last success so gets the verdict. Fazza ran poorly when well supported at Beverley but the last time Cactus Valley ran in this class he scored at Windsor from just 1lb lower.
