Verdict

Ed Walker has claims in the shape of You're The Boss who has something to prove despite boasting some alluring form figures in the context of this contest. Beaten at odds-on on his penultimate start at Thirsk, he was equally low-key when seventh of 11 in Newbury maiden company. Having looked promising, the jury is now out and it'll be interesting to see what the market makes of him. Rahy gelding Iptisam showed promise on his Ripon debut behind Cupertivo for James Tate who has his string in storming form at present. He looks sure to go well but THORNTOUN LADY showed up with equal promise on her Doncaster debut when fourth to Ethel, only beaten 2.25l and the fifth that day, Dame Nellie Melba, has won since. The form looks solid and she's taken to step up on that pleasing introduction. Mukhabarat was seventh of 11 on his sole start last term for Godolphin and this rates a far from taxing starting point for his new campaign.
