Verdict

Legislation is a confident choice in this company. Manhattan Dream and King Fingal can pose the most problems along the way. The selection, who helped to set a good tempo for Ravens Pass in a French Group 1 earlier in the month, drops markedly in grade for this return to handicapping and should appreciate this ease in competition. John Gosden has a 33% strike-rate at Redcar and again appears to have cherry picked this as a likely opportunity. Manhattan Dream landed a maiden at Warwick in good style last time out and is open to further improvement. He makes a touch more appeal than King Fingal as the best alternative should Legislation deliver less than expected today.
