Verdict

CLERICAL is given the vote to gain his hat-trick of wins in the finale at the expense of Soto and Micky Mac. The selection has notched up two wins at Yarmouth this month as he continues on his up ward curve. Connections have decided to run again quickly with a penalty as the handicapper is likely to penalise him quite heavily for his recent performances. With the conditions in his favour once again he is difficult to oppose. Soto was back to winning ways at Catterick last month but has since failed to trouble the judge. He was tried in first time cheek pieces last time out which didn't seem to improve his form and the blinkers have been refitted this time around to enhance his enthusiasm. Micky Mac won off a mark of 58 back in April and although only four pounds higher in the weights at the moment he has struggled to recapture his best so is worth treating with caution for the time being. Clerical is the form horse in the race and is difficult to oppose.
