There was cut in the ground for both of Persian Peril's recent wins in Scotland and he has a double penalty to carry here. Hidden Glory had every chance at Hamilton last time but disappointed and it's beginning to look like he's best on the Polytrack, while I Confess does most of his winning nowadays over shorter trips on the all-weather. Christmas Light, Petomic and Miss Blink all look in the handicappers grip judged on their recent placed efforts. Flame Of Hestia has lots of scope for improvement and makes some appeal but don't rule out GOLD RULES from making the frame. He is 14lb below his last winning mark which was over C&D last May on similar ground conditions.
