Verdict

Lawn Jamil should improve on his Haydock debut as he ran green and will appreciate today's extra furlong. Silver Blaze also showed signs of inexperience on his debut on soft ground at Newcastle and can figure, while Night Flash and Fine Altomis are expected to finish closer. Master Chipper is related to plenty of winners and worth noting on his debut, but a chance is taken on fellow newcomer UKRAINIAN. He cost 120,000gns and has an entry in Newmarket's valuable sales race next month so any strong support for Mark Johnston's Teofilo colt could prove significant.
