Verdict

AL KHAN is upped 5lb for his recent win at Ascot but is taking on lesser rivals today. Violet Jordan's charge gets the vote to follow-up ahead of Head Space. The latter has been looking to take advantage of a slide down the weights and went close to doing so at Pontefract last time. He has the beating of both Rich Again and Last Bid on recent running while Barkston Ash is quite capable of getting involved on his best form, although it's hard to predict when he'll produce it. Foreign Rhythm won a lowly handicap at Ayr last time but this is much tougher.
