In depth

Verdict

This is another competitive event and from a shortlist of IMPRESSIBLE, Titus Andronicus and Excellent Show we will side with Impressible. The selection is a progressive filly and she has now won three of her last five races. She has conditions to suit and she has a good draw and she should take plenty of beating. Titus Andronicus only found Tyrannosaurus Rex too good at Chester last time but he is not ideally drawn for one that likes to trailblaze and there is a suspicion that the handicapper may now be catching up with him. Excellent Show is lightly-raced and she showed improved form last time after being dropped a few pounds by the handicapper. There could be more to come and she looks to have a leading chance. Fivefootnumberone won well last time and John Quinn has his string in decent form so from a good draw he has to be considered, although he is arguably better with a bit of cut in the ground. Impressible looks progressive and gets our vote.
