Total Impact has returned to form with a bang in recent weeks after dropping to what looked a very attractive mark and score once again here. Second at York last Friday, he found just one too good in Sohraab and racing off the same mark here today is the obvious choice. The unexposed Solar Spirit looks the main danger to Total Impact. He made his handicap debut over seven furlongs in May and possibly found it just on the sharp side. High Curragh holds no secrets in terms of his handicap mark and while he can be relied upon to run his race, he may just be vulnerable to one or two better handicapped sorts. It is best to put a line through course and distance winner Swift Princess's last run as she was found to be lame. If back to form she would be another for any shortlist but Total Impact makes most appeal.
