Verdict

Sakhalin Star appeared to enjoy the very testing conditions at Doncaster last week and has a penalty to carry on what is likely to be much quicker ground though if the rains arrive he will have to be considered, a remark that also applies to heavy ground winner Golden Spear. Dubawi Light won a Polytrack maiden over this trip and was in touch for most of the way when sent over an extra two furlongs at Leicester. The well-connected Rainbow Rock is the type to do much better this season and it would be no shock if he were to make a successful reappearance though SHERIFF OF NAWTON has been in such good form and looked so impressive here a couple of weeks ago that he should land a hat-trick.
