Verdict

Crossley should improve a little for the step up to 1m, while Final Delivery has to go on the short-list having finished third over 7f and then 1m1f on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton. Going Grey is likely to prove the best of the newcomers but more interesting are Le King Beau and WILLIE WAG TAIL. The former was doing his best work at the finish on his debut over 7f here earlier this month and will appreciate the extra furlong but the latter's staying-on fifth at Kempton looks slightly better form. Ed Walker's charge missed the break that day so should take all the beating here if getting away on terms.
